About the Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team at BM Prime Capital. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and leadership experience to take charge of a team and act as a CTO. The candidate should be proficient in MERN stack development, a passion for creating high-quality web applications, and experience with A.I. or M.L. The position is a virtual full-time position.
Requirements

Design, develop and maintain web-based applications using the MERN stack

Build and maintain websites for the firm and portfolio companies

Create customized internal applications for fellow employees to use

Develop and service applications and startups as needed by the firm

Help founders of our portfolio companies develop their MVP and guide their team in developing their solution

Lead a team of developers and act as a CTO

Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features for the EdTech SaaS application for one of our portfolio companies

Provide technical guidance and support to team members
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

At least 5 years of experience in full-stack web development using the MERN stack

Proven track record of leadership experience, acting as a CTO or leading a team of developers
​

Experience building and maintaining web applications and websites
​

Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
​

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
​

Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and other related technologies

Familiarity with AWS, Azure or GCP
​

Prior experience with Artificial Intelligence and/or Machine Learning

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and collaboration skills
